Adventure tent

A-Frame tent

A double-occupancy glamping tent designed for couples who want something more than sleeping between four walls.

There’s a reason why A-frame geometry has been around for centuries. It’s a proven solution.

The sloping roof sheds rain and snow easily. The steep pitch means water cannot collect on roof. The triangular geometry is highly stable in the wind, and snow does not build up on the roof.

This silhouette looks partly like a mountain cabin and partly like an Alpine shelter. This is why we call it the Adventure tent.

Why the A-Frame shape matters?
The BIGHEAD Adventure Tent takes proven geometry and turns it into a true bivouac-style holiday space.
Most glamping units try to mimic a hotel room. The Adventure Tent takes a different approach. It does not feel like a box, but like a shelter.

The experience is closer to waking up in a mountain cabin than in standard accommodation.

The veranda:

Where guests actually spend their time.

This is what most tent manufacturers miss: guests do not spend their holiday inside the tent. They spend it on the veranda.

The spacious covered veranda extends the living area well beyond the sleeping space. Shade sails on both sides provide reliable protection from rain and strong sun.

Guests can relax outside in any weather. They can lie down, read, or enjoy a glass of wine, even when conditions are not perfect.

Modular layout:

The veranda is divided into two zones: left and right. Each side can be configured to suit your concept.

One side can have a hammock. Or a long bench with a dining table and an outdoor dining area.

The other side can be fitted with an outdoor kitchen. Functional, well-positioned, and built for real use.

Flexible configuration:
Hammock, kitchen, bench, or dining table, each element can be adapted to your needs.

This flexibility is highly valuable. It means the exact same tent model can look and function differently at every single campsite.

Interior

Compact. Thoughtful. Different.

The interior of the Adventure Tent is deliberately refined.

A comfortable bed for two. A wardrobe for personal belongings. A compact sofa for reading, conversation, or a quiet morning coffee. Nothing more is needed.

Guests who choose an A-frame tent do not expect a large room. They expect a well-designed, efficient interior.

Everything has a purpose. Nothing is excessive. Nothing is missing. The inner layout keeps the space open. Elements do not block movement or overwhelm the interior.

Target guests

We designed the Adventure tent for a specific type of guest. It appeals to active couples, sports enthusiasts, and travellers who prefer unique holidays.

If your campsite or resort attracts adventurous travellers, couples on weekend breaks, or nature lovers, this tent is an excellent fit. The A-frame aesthetic appeals strongly to these groups. It features clean lines, natural materials, and bold geometry.

Proven in the field, not just on paper

BIGHEAD Adventure tents have been in use at campsites for years.

The Adventure model has been tested in campsites across multiple seasons, with guests from across Europe.

These are not prototypes. They are operational accommodation units, already taking reservations and delivering consistent returns over time.

Croatian campsites were among the first to adopt these tents. They remain in active use and continue to achieve high occupancy rates throughout the season.

Original design.

Not a copy.

Every tent on the BIGHEAD website is the result of original design work. We do not imitate and we do not borrow ideas.

This matters for one reason: every investment we make in innovation becomes an advantage for you.

Copies on the market can replicate the appearance. They cannot replicate the underlying design principles like proportions, material selection, construction decisions, and years of field testing that shape every detail.

Copies of BIGHEAD models are now appearing on the market. For us, this is a clear signal of one thing: who leads, and who follows.

The details that count:

FeatureWhat it means for you

Mini Adventure tent

Plug & Play movable tent that can be removed after the season.

(A bivouac-style glamping tent for couples who spend their days outside.)

Some guests do not need a porch, kitchen, or living space. They need a clean, comfortable bed.

The BIGHEAD Mini Adventure exists for exactly this type of traveller. It is the smaller sibling of the full-size Adventure A-frame reduced to its essential purpose: sleep well, wake up, go outside.

The Mini Adventure is a bivouac in the true sense.

Inside, there is space for a double bed. A real bed wide, stable, and comfortable. The interior is intentionally compact. No wasted space. No distractions. Only what is needed for rest.

At the entrance, a small covered porch creates a practical threshold. A place to leave boots, store gear, and step inside from wet conditions.

This tent is designed for a specific type of guest:

  • Active couples
  • Hikers, cyclists, climbers, kayakers
  • Travellers who spend the day moving, not sitting

Set it up. Remove it. And save it for next season.

Here is where the Mini Adventure solves a problem larger glamping units cannot.

Designed for mobility:

Many campsites across Europe operate under seasonal permits. Structures must be removed during the off-season to comply with regulations.

For most glamping units, this creates a logistical burden.

High-end tents are typically fixed in place. Connected to platforms and utilities. Dismantling them takes days, requires skilled labour, and leads to wear over time.

The Mini Adventure works differently. It is not a fixed structure. It is a mobile asset.

The entire unit: frame, canvas, and interior, moves as one piece. Lift a tent with a forklift and place it into storage. Intact. Assembled. Ready for reuse.

No disassembly. No reassembly. No downtime.

The structure is engineered to move without compromise. Joints stay tight. Connections hold. It does not degrade with handling. Tent is built to be relocated.

Plug & play advantages:

  • Seasonal permits:
If regulations require full removal, the Mini Adventure complies without effort. Move it out at the end of the season. Place it back before opening.
  • Remote or temporary locations:
Mountain, island, or coastal sites with limited access. The tent adapts to your logistics.
  • Test locations:
Trial new pitches without long-term commitment. Low risk. Flexible placement.
  • Lower operating costs:
No assembly crew. No repeated installation costs. Lower overhead, year after year.

Small footprint. Smart economics.

The Mini Adventure’s compact size creates advantages that are not immediately obvious.

Tent requires small space: This allows placement where full-size units simply cannot go. Between trees. On terraced hillsides. Along narrow riverbanks.

These are the locations guests value most, private, secluded, and immersed in nature. These are the types of pitches guests are willing to pay more for.

Because the tent is designed for overnight stays, guests naturally spend more time and more money on your other services. At the restaurant. At the bar. In the activity centre.

Your business model is simple.

Guests know exactly what they are booking and what they will receive. No unnecessary expectations. No surprises. No demand for a kitchen or lounge.

The promise is clear, and the execution is simple . That clarity keeps satisfaction high and without complaints.

Many people are not looking for luxury. They prefer simple and functional accommodation.

This is one of the fastest-growing segments in European tourism. The formula is straightforward: a strong location and the right nightly price.
