Camp PRO Family

Maximum features

Proven return

This is our winning model.
It offers the best balance between space efficiency and price.

The Camp Pro delivers our strongest value-to-performance ratio. It is not the cheapest tent. It is not the most extravagant.

It consistently delivers the best balance of build quality, guest satisfaction, and cost per unit.

Camp owners across Europe, from the Adriatic coast to Austria’s Carinthian lakes, rely on this model. It does something rare. It earns back its cost quickly while helping to keep guest review scores high. In the glamping business, those two outcomes determine whether an investment works.

Every feature in this tent exists for a reason. Nothing is decorative. Everything supports the guest experience and, by extension, your bottom line.

Built for families who expect more than a tent

Camp Pro is designed to be practical. It performs efficiently in real use. Its dimensions are carefully balanced to maximise space efficiency.

A curtain partition separates the sleeping area from the living space. A private bedroom sits behind it, giving parents or couples their own area away from the main part of the tent.

The rest of the interior remains open, social, and practical. When the children are asleep, adults can sit on the veranda, prepare food, or enjoy a quiet evening.

The spacious veranda functions as a true extension of the living space. It includes a large, solid dining table with bench seating, a lounging corner, and a practical kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and hob. This is where guests cook, eat, and relax throughout the day. This is not a symbolic addition, it is where guests spend most of their time.

The pull-out sofa bed provides an additional sleeping space for one person. It is a practical solution for families with a third child or for guests bringing a friend.

For children, this is the kind of tent they remember. It is spacious enough to feel free, adventurous enough to feel exciting, and different enough from traditional accommodation to leave a lasting impression.

Parents often report that their children ask to return.

Five-month season instead of three

Most standard glamping tents are designed for summer use only. The Camp Pro is not.

With a purpose-built underfloor heating system (a BIGHEAD innovation), the tent operates comfortably from May through the end of September. That gives you five to six months of bookable nights instead of three.

For a campsite owner, this changes the arithmetic. Fixed costs remain the same, while the revenue window nearly doubles.

You have full control over heating and energy use via your phone.
Underfloor heating distributes warmth evenly across the entire floor of the tent. Guests feel the difference immediately, especially on cold mornings. No cold spots. No draughts. The system is simple, reliable, and designed to extend your season.

Double canvas construction

Natural Climate Control

The Camp Pro uses a dual-layer canvas system. This is not a marketing add-on. It is a direct engineering solution to one of the oldest problems in tent design: heat management.

How it works:
The outer canvas layer acts as the primary weather barrier. It handles rain, UV radiation, hail, and snow. The inner canvas defines the living space. Between the two layers, an air gap is created.

When the sun heats the outer fabric layer, the air in the space between the two layers warms up and begins to rise. This creates a natural airflow within the air gap. Cooler air is drawn in from below, while warm air escapes upwards. The result is a continuous ventilation effect that removes excess heat before it reaches the inner layer.

The result for guests:
In summer, the interior stays noticeably cooler than the outside air. Guests can remain inside even during the hottest part of the day without discomfort. No air conditioning is required. No noise. No energy cost. No maintenance.

Why it matters:
Most single-layer tents turn into greenhouses by midday. Guests leave. They move to the beach, the pool, or anywhere else to escape the heat.

Performance in cooler conditions:
In colder weather, the same air gap works in reverse. It slows down heat loss and improves insulation. Combined with underfloor heating, the tent maintains a comfortable indoor temperature well into autumn.

Solid wooden construction

Built to withstand real weather conditions

The Camp Pro is built on a solid wooden frame. Not aluminium poles. Not fibreglass. Not plastic connectors. Wood.

It is a deliberate engineering decision. The wooden structure provides rigidity, wind resistance, and a level of stability that lighter systems cannot match. Guests notice the difference immediately. There is a clear contrast between lightweight, minimal construction and a solid structure that delivers a premium presence.

The roof geometry is designed to shed water efficiently. In heavy rain from Mediterranean downpours to Central European storms water runs off instead of pooling. The structure stays dry. There are no weak seams along the roofline and no points where water collects and eventually penetrates.

The tent can handle:

  • Sustained heavy rainfall without leaking
  • Strong wind gusts without compromising the structure
  • Hail, increasingly common across European campsites
  • Snow loads in winter days

Built In-House. Controlled Quality.

BIGHEAD tents are manufactured entirely in-house in Slovenia.

We sew our own canvas. We do not rely on pre-made sheets from third-party suppliers. Every seam, joint, and connection point is under our control. The fit between canvas and structure is precise. Gaps, sagging, and misalignment common in mass-produced tents do not occur.

Mould resistance: A problem you will not have

Mould is one of the most common failure points in lower-quality glamping tents.

It often appears after the second season. Molds spreads gradually through the canvas and is difficult to remove. Once visible, it damages the material and shortens the usable life of the tent.

The Camp Pro canvas is designed to resist mould. The double-layer construction further reduces the risk by allowing air to circulate between the layers. This prevents the damp conditions in which mould develops.

This is not a minor advantage. Camp owners who have dealt with mould understand the cost: cleaning or replacing the canvas, lost income during downtime, and negative reviews. Mould also produces an unpleasant odour, which directly affects the guest experience.

Fresh air without the greenhouse effect

Natural ventilation is engineered into the Camp Pro.

Air moves through the structure without mechanical assistance. This prevents heat build-up and eliminates the stagnant, enclosed feeling common in single-layer tents.

Guests can remain inside comfortably, even during high temperatures or sudden weather changes.

The tent does not turn into a greenhouse on hot days or a damp enclosure during rain. This directly improves the guest experience. And better experiences consistently lead to better reviews.

What this means for your business?

The Camp Pro Family Tent is not just a product. It is a long-term product, designed to generate net income season after season.

  1. Extended booking season:
With underfloor heating, it can operate from May to October. Occupancy becomes achievable during the transitional season.
  2. Higher nightly rates:
A well-equipped and comfortable glamping unit is marketed at a higher price than standard tents. The Camp Pro justifies that premium, and guests recognise the value.
  3. Stronger reviews.
Platforms like Booking.com, Google, and TripAdvisor are driven by guest ratings. Comfort, weather protection, and family-friendly design lead to consistently high scores. Properties above 8.0 on Booking.com typically achieve higher occupancy.
  4. Lower maintenance cost.
Mould-resistant canvas, a solid timber structure, and a long service life reduce repairs and downtime.
  5. No concrete foundations required:
The Camp Pro can be installed on prepared ground without permanent foundations. This preserves the natural setting and simplifies permitting in many European regions.
  6. Return on investment:
Based on project data since 2012, the investment is typically repaid within two years. Few investments deliver returns this quickly.
