Simple family tent

Small footprint, spacious interior

The IZY is the only glamping tent on the market with this type of geometry.

The key lies in its interior design. Instead of limiting space, the geometry opens it up. As you step inside, the first thing you notice is the volume, real, usable space.

No other glamping tent on the market uses this geometry.

This is not accidental. It is a thoughtful approach borrowed from architecture. The angled walls create both the perception and the reality of greater interior volume, without increasing the external footprint.

In practical terms, this means you get a spacious, airy interior while using minimal ground space. There is no comparable tent on the market using this geometry.

What this means in practice:
For campsite owners, it allows more units per hectare without making guests feel confined. For private landowners, it enables installation in tighter locations: gardens, terraces on slopes, or narrow clearings while still delivering genuine comfort.

Two models

We developed two models:

  1. IZY for Two (11 m²)
  2. IZY Family (18 m²)

IZY for Two tent

Built for active couples who spend their days outside.

This is a basecamp tent.

You wake up, take a cold drink from the fridge, sit on the veranda with your morning coffee, and head out. When you return, everything is exactly as you left it. Secure, dry, and ready.

The compact veranda comfortably fits two chairs and a small table.

Inside, there is space for a comfortable double bed and a small refrigerator for drinks or fresh food. It is not a luxury suite, and it is not meant to be. It is a well-designed, well-built shelter for guests who prioritise time outdoors, while still expecting a proper place to sleep and recharge.

Who it suits best:
Young couples, hikers, cyclists, kayakers, and festival visitors. Guests who spend the day exploring and return for a reliable, comfortable night’s rest.

IZY Family tent

Everything a large glamping tent offers, in a much smaller footprint.

The veranda becomes a fully functional outdoor living area. A kitchen for preparing meals. A dining table with seating for four. Enough space to read, lounge, or simply watch the sky.

Inside, the layout allows a family of four to move comfortably. There is space to relax on the sofa, rest during the day, and store food and drinks in the refrigerator. The space feels open, airy, and easy to move through.

It feels like a small holiday home made of canvas.

Power outlets are integrated both inside the tent and on the veranda. Phones charge, laptops work, and small appliances run without improvised solutions or trailing cables.

Who it suits best:
Families with children. Couples who want more space and comfort. Guests who expect more from a glamping stay and want to spend time both inside and around their accommodation.

Why geometry matters

Most tents are defined by their footprint. IZY is defined by its volume.

Angled walls expand the usable space without increasing the size of the base. You get more room where it matters, at standing height, at the sides, and in daily use.

The result:

  • Furniture fits without compromise
  • The interior feels open, not enclosed
  • Guests stay longer and use the space more efficiently.

More comfort. More usable space. Same footprint.

Built for 10+ years of use

Let’s be clear about the price. IZY is BIGHEAD’s most accessible model. That does not mean lower quality. Quite the opposite.

The canvas, the wooden frame, and the base structure are built to the same standard as the rest of our range. We design for a service life exceeding ten years, even with year-round use. The structure is built to withstand storms, heavy rain, sustained wind, and snow loads.

This is not a tent you buy, use for three summers, and replace.

What makes it durable?

  1. Canvas:
Engineered to resist mould. This a common failure point in lower-quality tents, especially in humid or coastal environments. The fabric breathes naturally, allowing continuous air exchange. This prevents condensation build-up, reduces heat accumulation, and maintains a stable interior climate.
  2. Frame:
A solid timber structure designed for all-season exposure. Loads from wind and snow are distributed evenly, avoiding stress points that typically lead to failure in lightweight systems. The frame is protected by the roof, so it is not exposed to direct rain.
  3. Base structure:
Manufactured with CNC precision, each component is engineered for an exact fit, allowing for seamless assembly without strain. The base structure uses solid timber with enlarged cross-sections, delivering enhanced rigidity, higher load capacity, and long-term resistance to deformation and ground moisture.

Assemble it yourself

No specialist required

The IZY is delivered as a complete kit, including all components, fixings, and clear assembly instructions.

No construction crew is needed. No prior experience is required. Two people can assemble the tent within a few hours. The process is logical and sequential because each step follows naturally from the last.

This matters for campsite operators running multiple units. Damage from a careless guest or a rough storm does not take a tent offline for the season. You order the specific part, swap it in, and the unit is back in service.

Climate control without mechanical systems

Heat build-up is one of the most common issues in glamping tents.

Guests arrive on a warm afternoon, open the entrance, and step into overheated air. The IZY solves this through passive ventilation.

The IZY uses a dual-layer roof construction with an integrated air duct system between the outer roof canvas and the inner living space canvas.

When the sun heats the outer layer, the air within the gap warms and rises. This creates a continuous natural airflow. Cooler air is drawn in, while warm air escapes. No fans. No electricity. No moving parts.

Most tents use a single-layer roof. Heat transfers directly inside, creating a greenhouse effect. The difference is immediate between a space guests avoid and one they can comfortably use throughout the day.

What modern guests notice first

The IZY has a clean, contemporary design.

It does not resemble a traditional camping tent. That is intentional. The lines are modern, the proportions are balanced, and the structure presents well from every angle.

For campsite and resort operators, this has direct impact. Guests choose based on images. A visually distinctive tent attracts attention and drives bookings.

The IZY’s architectural geometry gives it a clear visual identity. It distinguishes itself from the repetitive safari and bell tents typically seen across campsites.
